Humboldt Fellows

Every year, the Alexander von Humbolt Foundation enables more than 2,000 researchers from all over the world to spend time conducting research in Germany. Today, the Foundation maintains an interdisciplinary network of well over 30,000 Humboldtians in more than 140 countries around the world. As a Henriette-Herz-Scout, Prof. Dr. Simone M. Müller had the chance to recruit two research fellows in Global Environmental History with Environmental Humanities.

Announcement: “Uncharismatic Species” Workshop

The Two-Day Hybrid Workshop “Theorising Uncharismatic Species in Environmental History”, organized by Humboldt Fellow Harry Croft, is scheduled for September 3 and 4 at the Environmental Science Center at the University of Augsburg.

Please submit an abstract of 500 words, 4 key words, and 100-word author biography/ies before 15 May 2026. Successful applicants will be notified no later than 10 June 2026.
