Getting to Augsburg
Augsburg is located in south-western Bavaria, close to Munich, and has good road, rail and air connections.
Arriving by plane
The average travel time (by train) connecting the airports to Augsburg main station (Augsburg Hbf) is as follows:
- Munich – Augsburg: ca. 90 minutes, one change
- Stuttgart – Augsburg: ca. 210-240 minutes, one to three changes
Arriving by train
Both local trains and fast intercity/eurocity (IC, EC) or intercity express (ICE) trains connect Augsburg to many other cities in Germany and Europe.

Getting from the station to the venue
- tram 3 from main station or Königsplatz to “Universität”
- tram 2 from Stadtwerke/Cathedral, Rathausplatz or Königsplatz to “Beim Dürren Ast” + 10 minutes walk
