From 2017 to 2018, he worked as a research associate at the Department of Education and Educational Psychology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. During this time, he also started working on his doctoral thesis as a member of the DFG-funded research group COSIMA: Facilitation of Diagnostic Competences in Simulation-Based Learning Environments in Higher Education. He continued his work in COSIMA at the Institute of Education at the University of Hildesheim, where he was employed from 2018 to 2024 and completed his doctoral thesis. Since 2024, he is employed at the University of Augsburg.
