Milton Jara: NESS for KPZ

Using the nonlinear SEP(a) as an example, we present a general strategy of proof to show that the invariant measures (Non-Equilibrium Stationary States) of boundary driven, weakly asymmetric, conservative systems on the interval are described by stationary energy solutions of the boundary-driven KPZ equation. Conditioned to the uniqueness of such solutions, we conclude that the fluctuations of the density under such NESS are described by the process introduced by Barraquand, Bryc, Corwin, Knizel et al.
