Hüseyin Doluca started his academic life by studying business administration at the University of Marburg. He specialized in statistics, marketing and computer science. In 2001 he was awarded a M.Sc. degree in Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. Subsequently, he worked at the Institute for Statistics of the University of Marburg. Following his participation in the PhD-programme in quantitative economics at Goethe University of Frankfurt he obtained a Master’s degree in Business Research and a Ph.D. at the University of Munich. After working as a visiting researcher at the Department of Applied Economics of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam in 2009, in 2010 he joined the Chair for Entrepreneurship and Management at the University of Würzburg. Since October 2014 he holds a post-doc position at the Chair for Management, Innovation and Sustainable Business (fmr Management, Innovation and international Business) of the University of Augsburg. His research deals with topics in innovation, entrepreneurship and industrial economics, where he uses both formal models and empirical methods (including laboratory experiments).
