Our article entitled “Modeling Network Load of Mobile Instant Messaging: A Modular Source Traffic Generator,” written by our chair in collaboration with researchers from the University of Würzburg, was recently accepted for publication in the IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management journal. A research team from the University of Augsburg presented a paper at the 18th Junior Researcher Workshop on Real-Time Computing (JRWRTC 2025), held 5–7 November 2025 in Pisa, Italy, outlining a research roadmap for reliable and time-critical communication in the Internet of Things.
