Please note:
The main allocation process for restricted admission degree programmes for admission to the winter semester 2024/25 runs until 24.08.2024.
The degree programmes that will take part in the supplementary allocation process and, if applicable, the
lottery admission process will be announced here.
Whether and how you have to apply depends on your desired degree programme and your higher education entrance qualification. Therefore, please first find out about the
degree programmes offered by the University of Augsburg, their
admission requirements and the
application and study place allocation process .
In the following cases, you must submit an application before enrolment can take place:
- If you possess a foreign higher education entrance qualification
- If you do not have a secondary school leaving certificate (Abitur) but a vocational qualification
- For restricted admission degree programmes (in the first and higher semesters)
- For open admission master's degree programmes (the admission requirements must be met in accordance with the respective examination regulations)
Please note: For 1, 3 and 4, an application must also be submitted in advance for a double degree programme or for a change of degree programme.
For 1, 3 and 4, please complete the online application via the link to the application portal below. Please note that in most cases the online application alone is not sufficient for enrolment. If you are shown an admission request with a signature field, please sign it and submit it to the Registrar's Office together with the documents listed on page 2 by the specified application deadline.
