Research projects
Current research focuses at the chair for urbane climate resilience include climate change and its currently noticeable weather events. Another focus is related to the consequences of climate and environmental change, as it is about reducing social vulnerability and how this is interwoven with social inequalities. This leads to a third focus: social resilience in urban areas. In particular, the question of a sustainable and systemic approach to transformation towards just, sufficient, culturally appropriate and healthy food systems in urban food environments will be explored.
