The lecturers of the Institute for Geography sometimes offer 1-day field trips at short notice during the course of a semester. Binding information regarding registration for field trips, possible preliminary talks, field trip date and other arrangements will be announced in good time under News or on the blackboards. Please therefore refrain from asking the lecturers about these..

• The field trip records must be submitted within 4 weeks at the latest after the field trip date. Records submitted after this deadline will NOT be considered when issuing certificates/credits!
• Unless noted otherwise, the field trips are open to students of all disciplines. Participation generally requires successful participation in the basic physical geography and human geography lectures.
• The usual portfolio examination procedure applies to students from PO 2013. All students must use a form to obtain credits for short field trips. The form is provided under Downloads/ Portfolio schedule and must be filled out and signed, and submitted to the responsible lecturer BEFORE taking part in an field trip. It is the responsibility of the student to check the correct credit possibilities in StudIS and in the module catalogue. A credit guarantee cannot be provided in case of incorrect information.

OFFERED EXKURSIONS

On request, and with a hygiene concept, short field trips can now be offered once again. The applications have been approved for the following field trips. The implementation mode is given under the remarks.
