The Faculty of Applied Computer Science of the University of Augsburg, Chair of Embedded Intelligence for Health Care and Wellbeing (Professor Dr habil. Björn W. Schuller), is offering a PhD or Post-doctoral position (100%) for a 3 years contract. The successful candidate can opt to a contract extension if the corresponding conditions are met. This position can be varied as part-time employment, provided that job sharing ensures the full-time performance of the tasks. A completed master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and for the Post-doctoral position a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is a prerequisite for this position. Previous knowledge in the following areas is desirable: Fluency in English is essential. Good communication skills in German are an asset. We offer an excellent research environment and the opportunity for independent creative scientific work.
