On Tuesday, September 02, 2025, Prof. Dr. Michael Seufert had the honor presenting his paper, “Marina: Realizing ML-Driven Real-Time Network Traffic Monitoring at Terabit Scale“, during the Hot Topic Talks for excellent journal publications at NetSys 2025 in Illmenau, Germany. The paper was originally published in the renowned IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management in 2024 and describes Marina“Marina”, a system designed to improve real-time monitoring of network traffic to ensure both performance and security for customers on large networks. Presenting this work to an engaged and knowledgeable audience was a true privilege.
