About Our Project
Today's IT landscapes have often grown historically and are the result of mostly short-term decisions. In addition, the general increase in complexity is leading to an ever greater interdependence of software components. As a result, the costs for operation, maintenance, updates and the reliable provision are rising and the reliability of software services is being compromised. Regarding the status quo, IT departments are increasingly working at full capacity and can hardly deal with new business issues.
The documentation of such uncoordinated developed IT landscapes is often incomplete and outdated. This makes them unsuitable as reliable starting point for challenges such as digital transformation, which today's companies are increasingly confronted with. Typical questions in IT operations, e.g. the cause of a failure, or in strategic IT planning can therefore no longer be answered without support.
The founding team’s EAM-Ops approach focuses on continuous and automated capturing as well as intelligent evaluation of information about the IT architecture (see figure). Combining the cycles from EAM and IT operations (Ops) enables integrated planning, controlling and monitoring of projects as well as architectural changes. Occurring problems can be identified, pinpointed and resolved immediately, while strategic changes in the IT landscape can be included in a goal-oriented manner.
