Business & Information Systems Engineering (M.Sc.)
Successfully Linking People, Tasks and Technology
Whether it has to do with music downloads, online gaming, forums, or "Googling,": computers and the so-called digitalization are increasingly influencing personal, societal, and economic daily life. In all areas, questions arise about the underlying business models and technologies that will significantly shape the world of tomorrow. Answering these questions requires interdisciplinary understanding. Business informatics combines knowledge and skills from business administration, computer science, and other disciplines such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, and law.
This knowledge and the corresponding skills enable the analysis, development, and utilization of information systems within and between organizations. As a result, people can understand and arrange the strategies, structures, functions, and processes of companies and corporate networks.
