(...) Due to the plagiarism affair surrounding the former Minister of Defence Karl Theodor Freiherr zu Guttenberg, the requirements for correct citation have gained additional importance and represent a focus of the work. Since the area of inadmissible plagiarism is still partly a "grey area", the new edition further specifies and develops the standards of correct academic work.

In addition, the new edition of the work also deals with student research projects, rhetorical skills and the publication of a legal thesis.
