Dr. Afsaneh Sadooghiasl is an assistant professor of nursing at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Tarbiat Modares University. Her research interest is medical ethics. She supervises Master's and Doctoral students' theses and dissertations mainly focusing on medical ethics in nursing care and the nursing profession.  She uses qualitative and mixed-method designs in her research projects.

Her research is on Discrimination in Clinical Medical Ethics and Patients' Perception of this concept. She has published in international journals.
