Assoc. Prof. Daniel S. Goldberg is Director of Education at the Center for Bioethics and Humanities at the University of Colorado, USA. In June/July 2024 he will be a guest at the Institute for Ethics and History of Health in Society, Faculty of Medicine, University of Augsburg.
Daniel Goldberg is a bioethicist/public health ethicist with interdisciplinary expertise in bioethics, history and health law. He has been researching the ethical, legal and historical aspects of chronic diseases for more than ten years. Daniel Goldberg's main field of research is stigmatization and discrimination in medicine and health. His work focuses on issues of priority setting in health policy and the use of legal instruments to ameliorate stigma and marginalization.
Daniel Goldberg is passionate about teaching and is delighted to run a lively seminar with students at the University of Augsburg. Of course, interested professionals from the healthcare professions are also welcome to attend.
