is a Poland-based and internationally active NGO dedicated to promoting innovative - and in particular, outdoor - education across Europe.

CIE has many years of experience in creating and implementing its own educational solutions. We focus on learning
programs, which strengthen transversal competencies. CIE reaches with such solutions to disadvantaged and excluded people and environments, particularly to deprived and rural areas. CIE focuses on areas related to social capabilities and building individual educational and professional development paths of CIE’s beneficiaries. We have experience in working with various target groups: educators, people 50+, the unemployed, the excluded, children and youth, SME employees, NEET groups (youth not in education, employment, or training), migrants, people from disadvantaged environments from various regions (small towns and villages).
Our main programs: FOLM (using Outdoor Learning), MENTOR (supporting primary teachers’ roles as students’ mentors), VSS (helping VET schools’ cooperation with business) concern transversal competences. Apart from formulating and implementing innovative learning methods, CIE also engages in research focused on education’s efficiency, teachers’ approach to advanced pedagogy tools, youth’s inspirations in the learning process, parents’ ambitions towards vocational and other secondary education pathways.
