The Centre for Interdisciplinary Health Research (CIHR) at the University of Augsburg is an intra- and interdisciplinary institution that brings together research from the humanities, social sciences, economics, law, and other related disciplines, providing an integrative perspective on the field of health. Three working groups focus on health and disease, medicine and the healthcare system, and biotechnology, addressing various questions and issues. Special emphasis is placed on areas such as bio, medical, and health law, end-of-life care, health communication, healthcare management, prevention, and digitalization. The goal is to promote interdisciplinary research in these areas.
