The Graduate Centre supports early career researchers across all career phases when it comes to questions of funding. It provides information on internal and external research funding opportunities as well as calls for research proposals.

Through the Graduate Centre, the University of Augsburg supports the faculties in promoting the career development of non-professorial researchers, including doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers as well as their mentors and supervisors, through matching grants.
 

The Graduate Centre enables the faculties to establish and expand their doctoral programmes to promote inter-faculty collaboration through interdisciplinary projects that span several faculties and to make use of external opportunities, such external doctoral courses, as well as supporting the implementation of further measures in accordance with the respective disciplinary foci of the faculties.
