The University of Augsburg would like to recruit an outstanding and internationally visible personality with leadership skills who has demonstrated excellent research achievements in the field of telemedical or mobile health applications. Applicants are expected to have an independent scientific profile in the development of medical software applications in the fields of prevention, therapy, diagnosis and/or (early) warning. The aim of the position holder is to develop medical software applications in the areas of prevention, therapy, diagnosis and (early) warning in cooperation with clinical partners and to research their use in the clinical and outpatient environment with a view to the quality of healthcare and patient safety. Different clinical priorities can be set. In teaching, the position holder should represent the field of telemedicine and/or mobile health applications in the Human Medicine and Medical Informatics degree programs. Broad experience in modern skills-based teaching, including the use of blended learning formats, is desirable and should be reflected in a specific teaching concept. Proof of a didactic qualification is advantageous.
