You can apply for the work permit for qualified employees with your German university degree and a proper job offer (§18b Abs. 1 AufenthG).

There is no salary limit for the work permit with § 18b Abs. 1 AufenthG, but you have to be payed equal to other employees in your field of work. Information for employers can be found on the web page of the Agency for work.

• passport (+ residence permit, + green "Zusatzblatt")
• application form („Antrag auf Erteilung eines Aufenthaltstitels“)
• graduation certificate
• contract of employment
• „ Erklärung zum Beschäftigungsverhältnis“ (form that has to be filled out by the employer)
• proof of health insurance

►After the foreign authority has checked all the documents, you will be given an appointment for a personal interview. 

►At the personal visit, you pay the fee of 100,- EUR by debit card and provide a recent passport photo.
