It has been a very rewarding experience, I have been able to get to know the German education and participate in it.

Participating in the international classroom experience was the perfect complement to my Erasmus semester! One of my goals before coming to Germany was to see how culture and the school system shape people's identities, and interacting with young adults in the classroom was the perfect way to explore this.[...] If you're curious and eager to learn while helping others learn, I highly recommend jumping into this project. It’s a fantastic adventure of which you will always remember!

I would strongly encourage getting involved in “International Classroom Experience”. The International Office at Uni Augsburg was very appreciative of my application and they made the process very easy. They took my personal preferences into account while pairing me with a local school and teacher and they even accompanied me on my first visit.

This project was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I learned about it during one of the first days of my Erasmus and I was immediately fascinated.

It has helped me to orient myself in my future and at the same time it has allowed me to experience as a teacher, knowing different methods of language teaching.

I always felt comfortable in the classroom and well respected by the students.

Everything is well organized and after only two weeks I was in a school nearby helping students with the Italian language. I do really hope many more people will take advantage of this extremely enriching experience.
