History of the Arts and Cultural History (B.A.)
Study content:
The B.A. programme in Art and Cultural History is interdisciplinary and integrates the subjects Classical Archaeology, Art History, Musicology, European Ethnology/Volklore and European Regional History as well as Bavarian and Swabian Regional History. Accordingly, it is dedicated to culture that can be experienced sensually and artistically, as well as to culture that is socially lived, remembered and reflected upon. The diverse cultural expressions are treated both historically and in relation to the present. The degree programme thus offers students insights into the subject areas of the respective sub-disciplines and at the same time the opportunity to address overarching issues from different perspectives.
