Please apply in a timely manner to uni-assist for preliminary review (Vorprüfungsbescheid, VPD) of your certificates. For this purpose, you only need to electronically upload your documents. Please do not apply for a single degree programme (einzelnen Studiengang) through uni-assist, but rather for “all subjects” (alle Fächer). This is possible all year round!

You do not need preliminary review documentation (VPD) if you:

• submit a verification report (Prüfbericht) from uni-assist.
• submit a certificate from an office for the recognition of non-Bavarian certificates and diplomas (Zeugnisanerkennungsstelle) with a grade point average.
• submit an APS certificate with a grade point average.
• are enrolling in a doctorate. For this, you need a confirmation of supervision (Betreuungsbestätigung).

• have previously successfully applied to the University of Augsburg. Please enclose a copy of your most recent letter of admission (Zulassungsbescheid). If you are already enrolled, please write the enrolment number (Matrikelnummer) on the admission request (Antrag auf Zulassung).
